Sushiryori Inose in Shinagawa

Best sushi I’ve tasted in my life! Can be a bit pricey (min 6000 yen per person) but not as expensive as a high-end sushi place. Very welcoming atmosphere. You’re seated at the counter with the chef in front of you and other customers next to you. Easy to strike up a conversation with the other customers.Limited English so make sure you get a Japanese person to book!

Proof that you do not need a Michelin Star to find great food. One of the best Sushi Bar restaurants in Tokyo. Cosy and traditional atmosphere, charismatic and warm chef. Absolute pleasure.

Sushi Inose is the ice breaker for me to eat raw sushi with minimal or no soy sauce. It was great, it was joyous, the owner were so friendly and they made me feel at home! I wanna go back and dine there again when I'm in Tokyo next time!Everything was so good! Thank you for serving and I hope we'll be able to see you guys again. Love, all the way from Singapore!

Absolutely hidden gem with very welcoming and warm hosts. Best sushi you will ever have. Beware, it will ruin all other sushi for you as this is the best you can get! The tuna cheek is a life changing meal.

Despite the size of the restaurant, the food was amazing and the chef was super energetic while cooking.

Best sushi ever! I've tried Sushi Dai in Fish market (3 hours waiting time) but this place is much-much better. RESERVATION IS REQUIRED.Only 11 people can be served a day. Prepare for japanise family stile dinner.

Great atmosphere, good food, and alot of laughs. Customers are manily international, had dinner with Scots, Singaporean, Argentinian, and Mexican. We all had a great time and strangers became dinner buddies.

Food made by the Chef directly for you! Hight class fresh sushi place. The fish is incredibly fresh, good and... presented in an original and funny way :) Remember to take at least between 6000 and 8000 yen per person.

One of the best meals I have ever had. Not only is the food amazing but the Chef and his wife make it a really amazing experience. This is a must stop anytime I am in Tokyo. Make sure to get reservations. They only seat about 12 people.

Great experience!! Inose san and his wife were superb !! High quality seasonal fish...excelent nigiri! Great friendly enviroment with inose san, his wife and the guest. Very small bar resturant with only 12 people. Need to book in advance..no english speaking..so, book thru your hotel. No menu..just in hand of Inose san. Quality of the fish is TOP and after three bottles of sake...we were dancing flamenco all together.. 😅

Amazing sushi!! This small place is run by Inose and his wife. Reservations are highly recommended as there are only about 10 seats. It is omakase so there is no menu, he makes whatever he is inspired to make but he will ask if you are ok with certain ingredients. It is cash only and will let you back 10,000 - 14,000 yen. I will definitely be back!

Excellent omakase sushi close to the Shinagawa station.I booked this restaurant for me and my colleague for 20:15. The hotel staff was immediately informed that this place was cash only and the meal would be around 6000 yen excluding drinks. We agreed and finalised the booking.We were greeted cheerfully by a wonderful husband and wife team which guided us though one of the most delicious omakase sushi meals I ever had.Everything served was extremely fresh and well prepared. The laid back atmosphere and the banter between the two owners also made us feel at home.

Wonderful experience. This is probably one of the best places to taste sushi in Tokyo. We didn't speak Japanese but they made us feel like home. The chef asked us before each plate if want that type of sushi or not. So dont be afraid of not common sushis. You can just say no and have a different one. Full course was 6000jpy. Definitely cheap for an experience like this.

My partner and I stumbled along this place on our way back from the hotel. It was a late Tuesday night and when we walked in and it was the owners and one other person. We were asked if we had a booking and we didn’t but they still welcomed us in. The food was beyond amazing and the chef and his wife we hilarious. We had a good time here and it was way better than the overpriced Zauo fishing restaurant we paid for the night previous. Come here if you can!

The place is small can set 8 people max. The chef will try to do some actions with his fish that he thinks is funny but it’s not. The fish is ok no doubt but he charged way above normal Tokyo sushi prices. I don’t think he charged these prices to locals. I’ve been to better sushi places with better quality fish and less prices. I think he takes tourists lack of language and shyness to charge high prices especially when there is no menu. I’ve never faced such a situation with other sushi chef, they where all respectable to their clients. So beware.

Chef Inose works magic with the assortment of fish in his Omakase! It's worth making the trip and reservation to visit him for dinner! The Ankimo and Shirako was superb, while the Ika was such a pleasant surprise. Tender flesh that becomes creamy, sweet, and buttery as you chew it. It's incredible.

One of the best sush places in introduced by locals. Just let the owner chef pick out the menu. You will not regret.
